Our Services
Laser Therapy
We use the FDA-cleared MLS Multiwave Locked System laser, which sets it apart from standard laser devices. It works by synchronizing two wavelengths simultaneously. This allows deeper tissue penetration and more consistent cellular response throughout the treatment area. MLS lasers help in faster tissue repair, reduce swelling, and improve circulation at the site of injury.
Laser therapy works well alongside our adjustments and other therapies because it helps the tissue heal from the inside, not just manage what is on the surface. It is painless and does not require any recovery time. Most patients notice a difference within a few sessions.
Chiropractic Care for Children
Children’s spines go through significant stress from the moment of birth onward. The physical demands of growing, falling, carrying heavy school bags, and sitting for long hours at school all affect spinal development. Small misalignments in a young spine can interfere with the nervous system at a time when the body is forming its long-term patterns.
Our approach to pediatric chiropractic is gentle and specifically adapted for younger patients. We assess posture, spinal alignment, and nerve function, then use light, precise adjustments suited to a child’s developing structure. Early care supports healthy nervous system function and gives children a better structural foundation going into adolescence and adulthood.
Prenatal Chiropractic Care
Pregnancy places significant and progressive demand on the spine and pelvis. As the body changes week by week, the centre of gravity shifts, ligaments loosen, and the sacroiliac joints come under increasing stress. Pelvic misalignment during pregnancy can affect both the mother’s comfort and the baby’s positioning.
Prenatal chiropractic care supports better pelvic balance, helps manage lower back and hip discomfort throughout each trimester, and prepares the body structurally for the demands of labour and delivery. Most of our prenatal patients feel significantly better through their care. A few have told us their delivery went smoother than they expected.
Numbness & Neuropathy
Numbness and tingling in the hands, arms, or legs is almost always a nerve problem. The nerve is either being compressed somewhere along the spine or getting trapped in the surrounding soft tissue. We see this a lot with patients who have forward head posture from screen use, disc problems in the neck or lower back, or tight muscles putting pressure on the nerve as it travels down the limb. What we do is trace it back to where the pressure is actually coming from. Once we identify that, we address the alignment of the spine, work on the soft tissue around the nerve, and give patients specific exercises to do between visits.
At Bergtold Chiropractic, we evaluate the full nerve pathway through a detailed clinical evaluation and nerve scans to identify exactly where the interference is occurring. When you get consistent pressure off a nerve, it tends to respond well. That is where most other approaches fall short. They treat where it tingles instead of where the problem actually starts.
